AboveNet Announces Referral – Channel Partner Program
Referral and Channel Partners Gain Network Access

NEW YORK, Monday, November 21, 2005 – AboveNet, Inc, a premier metro network access provider of custom fiber connectivity solutions for business, today announced the kickoff of their Business Referral and Channel Partner program. AboveNet competitive business agreements allow referral and channel partners to offer AboveNet private optical network service offerings to an expanded customer base in the 14 largest metro areas of the U. S.

The program enhancements expand the business opportunities that AboveNet offers to its partners. For no cost, qualified partners can sign up and potentially earn commissions on new sales of any of three programs:

  • Referral Partner – Referring Partners earn a one-time commission for each new contract referred by them and signed by AboveNet for its products and services. A number of Data Center Hosting companies have already entered this program and are achieving success in both increased revenues and complementary service offerings from their facilities.
  • Sales Partner – Sales Partners earn ongoing commissions at a pre-determined percentage of the monthly recurring revenue for signed AboveNet optical transport services with their accounts.
  • Channel Partner – A hybrid of the Referral and Sales Partner whereby partners promote AboveNet to their customer base and earn one-time or ongoing commissions at competitive rates.
